My Night at 🎃Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party was held on 37 select nights from Aug. 12 through Oct. 31, 2022. This special event haunts Magic Kingdom Park after normal park operating hours from 7 p.m. to midnight. Bonus: You can enter Magic Kingdom Park as early as 4 pm with your Party Ticket! 🎃

You definitely want to have a game plan for your Party Night. What to prioritize is key: characters? attractions? photos? shows? candy? Trust me, the night goes fast, and those character lines are long! So, grab your Party map and make it a night you’ll remember forever!

Wear a COSTUME!! Click link for guidelines. I dressed up as Maleficent! I was lucky enough to have bought my costume a couple years ago after Halloween and got it for only $30 on ShopDisney! It was cute and so comfortable! I think seeing all the guests (and Characters) in costumes is one of my favorite things about this Party. At one point, I was walking alongside Sleeping Beauty and the 3 fairies: Flora, Fauna & Merryweather. Hilarious! 😈

My fellow D2Travel pals and I stayed at Polynesian Village Resort, so that made our arrival and exit so easy! What a lifesaver at the end of the night. We arrived at Magic Kingdom around 5:30 pm and got our purple webby party bands! We followed the hard to miss THIS Way To Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party sign.

First, we stopped by the Town Square Theater where Jack & Sally were meeting guests! Did you know you can ask a Cast Member for a Card with their Autographs without having to wait to see them! 💜💀 #protip

We walked behind Main Street USA and discovered some adorable gold statues with Disney Characters in Costumes! Donald is always my favorite! What about you?

Next up, we picked up our souvenir CANDY bags!! We stopped by many Trick or Treat Locations throughout the night and filled our bags! I was a big fan of all the chocolate! 🍫 #marscandy

Our first stop had to be Haunted Mansion!! I rode it twice, once in daylight and once at nighttime. Haunted Mansion continues to be my all-time favorite attraction at Magic Kingdom. This attraction comes alive in all its ghostly glory during Halloween Parties! Eerie sounds, spooky lighting and creepy fog everywhere. 👻

I watched some amazing entertainment when I wasn’t riding attractions. Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular..i loved all the projections on Cinderella Castle and the fireworks were incredible.

🍷Pro Tip: Want an adult beverage or beer? Book a sit down “meal” early before the party officially begins and stop in for an appetizer & drink!

🧚‍♀️PRO TIP: Purchase Memory Maker so you can get access to all the Photopass Spots, Attraction Photos, Character Meet & Greet Pics, and Magic Shots! During the Halloween Party, you’ll find exclusive photo spots and magic shots…like this cool cauldron one and this lantern by Haunted Mansion. Now, I’m not gonna lie here…my #1 GOAL of the party was to get a pic with Captain Jack Sparrow. 🖤🏴‍☠️Swoon!! He is the absolute coolest and just so much fun!! I LOVE Pirates of the Caribbean and during the Party, you’ll see LIVE Pirates in the queue line and in the attraction.

The 👻Boo to You Parade was my favorite part of the Party! I have 999 reasons why…just kidding. I scored a prime spot near Liberty Tree Tavern. The Headless Horseman returned as the “opening” act and he was awesome! The Grave Diggers are a fan favorite and did not disappoint. Maleficent is probably my favorite villain, and she gave me a little evil nod as she floated by! Boo To You Parade

I spied these 2 gord-eous scarecrows on my way out and I just had to snap some pics. 🎃

Don’t forget to try some bewitching bites that are only at the Party like Worms & Dirt Funnel Cake and Spellbinding Fried Pie (buffalo chicken, mozzarella, blue cheese in a flaky dough topped with candy eye & jalapeno ranch aioli). Nom Nom. #hocuspocus🧙‍♀️

We left Magic Kingdom around 12:30am and I can easily say it was one of the BEST Parties that I’ve ever been to! I cannot wait to go again! Now, what to wear in 2023?
