Let’s welcome a NEW travel season! May is upon us and welcomes in a lovely time to travel to Disney World and Universal Orlando Resort. And did I mention Star Wars Day (May the 4th), Cinco de Mayo, Mother’s Day, Graduations, Memorial Day are all in the month of May!!

My countdown calendar reads: 4 days!! I’m so excited for my week-long visit and that I’ll be sharing part of it with some great friends and fellow travel agents! I’m in the middle of packing and organizing everything that I will need for my trip. Aka outfit planning. It’s a priority for this fangirl. I’m printing my itinerary, checking out forecasts and finalizing dining plans. Check. Check. Triple-check.

As a travel agent, much of my time during these work trips is spent researching, trying new things, taking photos and learning all that I can. My main goal: staying IN the KNOW of all the updates and happenings. My knowledge and experience are the BEST gifts that I can possibly give my guests. Plus, sprinkling lots of enchanted pixie dust is my specialty.

3. Walt Disney World: Face coverings are OPTIONAL for vaccinated guests and encouraged for non-vaccinated guests. Universal Orlando: Face coverings are optional for fully vaccinated guests. For guests who have not been vaccinated, face coverings are encouraged while indoors.

4. 💫 Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will open May 27th! Height requirements: 42 inches. Many PREVIEW days are happening all May…for Annual Passholders, D23 Gold Members, and DVC Members. First reviews are outstanding!! Look for Epcot to be busier than usual.

5. CHARACTER MEET & GREETS ARE BACK!! BEST news ever! Bring on the hugs and dust off your autograph books! Some locations will be offered with Disney Genie+.

6. 🧞‍♀️Frozen Ever After, Space Mountain, Expedition Everest and Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway are temporarily being offered as Disney Genie+ selection at Disney World! Fantastic news! Now thru August 7, 2022.

7. Coming Summer 2022!!

The reimagined show, “Finding Nemo: The Big Blue… and Beyond!” is opening this summer at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park! New script, New scenic set pieces and a New LED video wall!
