What’s in my 🌞Summer Park Touring Bag?

☀Summer is still HERE, people! While I do love Fall and all things Halloween, summer is about sun, fun and vacations! And let me tell you, after this crazy year, our souls need it. Summer puts a smile on my face and I just feel happier. Total Bliss.

Now, for me personally, summer and theme parks are just…meh. I’d much rather be at the beach or pool! But, I know many people still enjoy and flock to theme parks during the summer months. Why? Well, it’s SUMMER! School’s out! Vacay Vibes set in. You’re so ready to GO somewhere and LIVE. And Disney always provides the Magic you’re looking for. So, with that philosophy in mind…let’s make sure we keep your summer Disney Vacation full of smiles!🏰

As I’m sure you know, summer weather in Florida is downright HOT, HUMID and well, unpredictable. It’s usually sunny & HOT with a chance of RAIN & Storms daily. 😂 Too bad dole whips didn’t drop out of the sky? Am I right? 🍦 Plus, crowds can totally be a thing! But…Hakuna Matata. I’m here to help you survive and thrive during your summer vacation to Walt Disney World. You’ll be staying cool, having a blast and well, looking like a park touring Rockstar! Sunglasses included.

Top 5 Summer Survival Gear for Disney and Beyond

  1. Rechargeable Portable Neck Fan– Yes, I said it…Neck Fan. Seriously, lifesaver people. Disney sells some really cute, battery-operated ones that work pretty well and usually hang from your neck. But, I really love ones like this! Add some Evian Facial Spray and you’re good to go! Tip: Keep your facial spray cold & put it near an ice pack or frozen water bottle.

2. Cooling Towels. Get em wet. 💧 Cool off. Repeat. I can totally vouch for these Disney Park towels. They are awesome and make a great souvenir! Worth the $18. Otherwise, you can find a ton of choices on Amazon.

3. Ponchos. It rains in Florida, a lot. ☔ The good news, it’s usually just a quick rainstorm. So, make sure to have a poncho or 2, to throw on and park tour on. To note: the ones in the parks are quite expensive, so be sure to buy some prior to your trip. This family pack is found on Amazon.

4. Sunnies 🕶(aka sunglasses), sunscreen spf 50+ and hats are your best friends in the summer months at Disney Parks! Apply sunscreen before you arrive and don’t forget to re-apply later. If you wear Minnie Ears like me, having a parasol is great too. Definitely wait to buy your hat. 🧢Disney sells some really cool ones like these:

5. Anti-chafing sticks: This stuff works miracles. Gold Bond. I also love the Foot Glide from Body Glide. Don’t forget to pack some Blister Band-Aids, just in case. 🩹

STAY COOL, Friends!! Have a Magical Vacation!!
