Hello Travelers! Greetings Magic Seekers!
I’m so happy to announce the creation of my new website and blog. Enchanted Nook. The spell is finally broken! Here it is, my love of Disney and Universal forming one special Nook. I can’t tell you how excited I am to write about my passions and fandoms! As a proud Disney Addict, Star Wars Geek, and Harry Potter Head, I welcome you! This is our Nook!
I am looking forward to sharing, writing and dreaming right along with you. As a travel agent specializing in both Disney & Universal, I have a wealth of information at my fingertips. Not to mention, I live and breathe the “Disney Life”! Occasionally, I’ll post fun finds like clothing, decor, books, etc. If you’re like me, you live the “life” at home, too! I enjoy whipping up Disney, Star Wars & Harry Potter inspired food & drinks. I love hosting “theme” parties. I’m living my best “enchanted” life!
Now, I’m sure you can guess where the inspiration for “Enchanted Nook” comes from. But, I would love for you to know the “why”. Now, let me tell you a story…Once upon a time…just kidding.
First, the idea of Enchanted Nook comes from my adoration of Beauty & the Beast. Enchanted Rose. Tale as old as Time. You know the rest. The story, the movie, the characters, the music….I love it all. Magic, Adventure, Excitement, Love. For me, it’s Disney at its best. Belle is my “spirit” Princess. Like her, I’ve always had a dreamer’s heart, a reader’s mind and traveler’s soul. So naturally, having a spot or nook to dream, read, plan and escape is pure bliss. Everyone should have a nook to call their own. I hope this will be yours.
Secondly, who doesn’t love the feeling of being Enchanted? I sure do. I’ve always been fascinated with magic…books, spells, movies, the supernatural, Disney, Harry Potter…nothing beats a great fairytale, fantasy adventure, mystery or magical story…you get the idea. It’s an escape from reality. Be someone else. It’s the What If of our imagination. I can easily say, most of my favorite things have an element of magic within. Magic is everywhere, you can feel it, see it, sense it. Sometimes, it takes you by surprise. But mostly, you just have to know where to look. Travel more. Take time out of your day to just “be” and really “see” the people and the world around you. It’s magic for the soul.
